A Conversation with Youth

I believe what the Honourable Sage Bediüzzaman prescribed as a remedy is really important: Zannediyorum, Üstad hazretlerinin reçete olarak verdiği o husus çok önemli:
He describes an 'ease in solidarity.' "Teâvün düsturunun teshîli" diyor.
'Organising working hours', 'organising tasks' and 'the ease in solidarity.' "Mesâînin tanzimi", "a'mâlin taksimi" ve en sonunda da "teâvün düsturunun teshîli" diyor.
I believe this is like an expansion of time where a lot can be done in a short period.
Working hours need to be arranged really carefully so that what we are going to do in across a day is all planned out.
In other words, how long am I going to stay at home? Yani, ne kadar evde duracağım?
How long am I going to spend with my parents? Ne kadar anneme-babama kemerbeste-i ubudiyet içinde mukabelede bulunacağım?
How long am I going to sleep? Ne kadar uyuyacağım?
How long will I be awake? Ne kadar ayakta duracağım?
How much am I going to read? Ne kadar kitap mütalaa edeceğim?
How long? Ne kadar.
Our friends who are in pursuit of high aspirations should refrain from being preoccupied with current events.
We need to keep distant from things that don't concern us directly. Bizi doğrudan doğruya, evvelen ve bizzat alakadar etmeyen (mâlâyânî) şeylere karşı mesafeli durmamız lazım.
This should be our red line; we should always plan our time accordingly.
I believe 'Organising tasks' means assigning people the tasks they are inclined towards mentally and spiritually. "A'mâlin taksimi" diyoruz; yani, herkes ne yapabilecek ise, temayülü ne ise, ruh ve kalb ibresi neyi gösteriyor ise, bence o istikamette yol almalıdır.
Otherwise, if people have to perform tasks that they don't know/want/love, it will cost a lot of time.
Here, I have witnessed very precious people spending ten years, fifteen years to do their PhD's. Ben burada çok kıymetli arkadaşlarımızın on senede, on beş senede doktora yaptıklarına şahit oldum.
This is a life-time. Ee bir ömür bu.
What could be done in ten months is asked to be done in four years; people are being kept busy for four years. On ayda yapılabilecek şeyleri, dört seneye serpiştirmişler; dört sene insanı meşgul ediyorlar.
I wonder if this could be shortened, if the fundamentals could be taught well and the rest is solved like mathematics problems, allowing the students to solve the rest themselves.
I seems to me that three-year middle school education and, for instance, four-year religious-oriented high school education which add up to seven years of education could be given in two or three years. Zannediyorum bir dört senelik İmam Hatip'i, üç senelik ortaokulu -veya tersi onun- o yedi seneyi insan herhalde iki-üç seneye sığıştırabilir.
Such is the university education; depending on the courses thought at the university, it could be finished in two or three years.
In that way, a person would be beneficial to society at a time when one is most dynamic and at the peak of one's youth.
I'd also like to emphasise is a third discipline besides these two disciplines.
As mentioned by the Sage Bediüzzaman, 'people helping one another with ease' is quite important to me. Üstad'ın ifade ettiği, "teâvün düsturunun teshîli" (herkesin birbirine kolayca yardım etmesi) çok önemli geliyor bana.
In morphology, the word 'mutual assistance' which refers to two or more people assisting each other to solve a problem using their collective minds is quite important. "Teâvün" kelimesi, Sarf ilminde, iştikakta, esasen "müşâreketun beyne'l-isneyni, fesâiden" sözü ile ifade edilen sigadan; yani, iki kişinin veya daha fazla insanın, bir problemi çözme mevzuunda kafa kafaya vermeleri, ortak akla müracaat etmeleri.
For instance, if one of our friends is doing his PhD, assisting him.
There are such friends among us; they have extensive knowledge about books and other written sources. Öyle arkadaşlar vardır ki birikimleri itibarıyla kitapları bilirler, kaynakları bilirler mesela.
They need to help those friends. Şimdi o arkadaşa onlar, yardımcı olmalıdırlar.
One of you may write very well, the moment they grab a pen, they can write very eloquently and powerfully. Mesela birisinin kompoze kabiliyeti çok yüksektir; kalemi eline aldığı zaman, şakır şakır yazar.
You would think they write like Ferdowsi, the Persian poet and writer of epics. They have such competence.
These friends should help other friends with their writing skills.
By doing this, more can be done with the limited amount of time one has; just as drops of water can cut through marble. Böylece zamanı büzme/daraltma, çok kısa zamanda taşı-eritebilecek damlalar halinde mermerin bağrına dökülme.
This is from a Turkish proverb: Bunu da bir Türk atasözünden mülhem dedim:
'It is not the pressure of the water that cuts through marble, rather is consistency and continuation. "Mermeri aşındıran suların akışı değil, devam ve temâdîleridir."
This is for those friends who have given themselves to reading and learning.
Some of you work with your parents and family business.
Others are involved in politics and wish to serve there. Bazıları, siyasî alana atılır, orada ona göre hizmetler görebilirler.
But our friends, who have great goals, as expressed by the Honourable Sage, 'The absence or the forgetting of an ideal (in life) causes people to concentrate upon themselves and their own self-interest.' Fakat hani bizim arkadaşlarımız genelde bir gaye-i hayali olan insanlar ki, yine Hazreti Pîr, Şem'-i Tâbân, Ziyâ-i Himmet'in ifadesiyle, "Gâye-i hayal olmazsa veyahut nisyan veya tenâsî edilse, ezhân enelere dönüp etrafında gezerler."
A lofty ideal. Çok yüksek bir ideal.
He calls it an ideal, a goal, Ziya Gökalp calls it a noble ideal. O "gâye-i hayal" diyor; zannediyorum Fransızcadaki bu "ideal"in karşılığı ki Ziya Gökalp de ona "mefkûre" demişti.
To have lofty and elevated ideals and goals... Yüksek bir ideale dilbeste olma, sürekli onu hedefleme böyle.
This must be one's ultimate purpose in life, ultimate goal. O, hayatında onun "on iki"si olmalı; vuracaksa on ikiden vurmalı, ondan.
It should be a grand purpose of life. Öyle bir gâye-i hayal olmalı.
If a person is to become devoted to such high goals, they will not lose to the desires for worthless things. Öyle yüksek bir hedefe dilbeste olursa bir insan, onun beri tarafında değersiz şeylere karşı gönül kaptırmaz.
Yes it should be one's Layla; and you should be its Majnun. Evet, o, onun "Leyla"sı olmalı; kendisi de o işin "Mecnûn'u olmalı.
To be so enamoured by Layla, so far as to not recognise her upon seeing her.
One should be so intoxicated in one's love, that they do not see her.
Our friends who have declared themselves to a higher cause ought to count anything otherwise as unworthy and should not show favour before it.
Those unworthy things will cause disorientation. O pes şeyler dağınıklığa sebebiyet verir.
That is why he says: Onun için diyor ki:
'If there is no such purpose of life, or if it is forgotten or appears to be forgotten.' "Öyle bir gâye-i hayal olmazsa veya nisyan edilse, unutulsa veya insan tenâsî etse."
If they assume a behaviour that implies it is forgotten. Unutuyor gibi bir tavır alsa.
This comes from the root word mentioned, 'to show one's self to have forgotten.'
It was used in old medicine: Eskiden, eski tıpta kullanılırdı:
'To show one's self to be sick.' "Temâruz".
Showing one's self as sick when they are not, this is what it means.
Indeed, to appear as though they have forgotten when they have not really. Esasen unutmadığı halde, unutma tavrı içinde bulunma.
'The mind turns into the ego.' "Ezhân, enelere döner."
Minds turn to egotism. They become egoists, narcissists, all obliviously. Zihinler, enâniyete döner, bir egoist olur, egosantrist olur, narsist olur insan, hiç farkına varmadan.
Hence, one must be in communication with God and devoted to higher achievements.
'What can I do to earn His pleasure and consent? "Ne yapsam ki O'nun hoşnutluğunu ve rızasını kazansam?
What can I do to make the Noble Spirit of the Master of Humankind happy?
If only he were to honour me and set his marquee in my heart, to come and brighten my nights. Teşrif buyursa, benim kalbime otağını kursa, benim gecelerimi nurlandırsa.
If only every night was like that.' Keşke, her gece öyle olsa."
When the human becomes smitten, now an insane lover one cannot see or hear anything else. İnsan, gönlünü bunlara kaptırınca, zannediyorum artık bir deli, bir sevdalıdır; başka şey görmez, düşünmez.
Path of the Honourable Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, and hundreds more. Hazreti Ebu Bekir çizgisi, Ömer çizgisi, Osman çizgisi, Ali çizgisi, daha yüzlerce.
May God be pleased with all of them! (Radıyallahu anhüm ecmaîn.)
Path of Mus'ab ibn Umayr. Mus'ab İbn Umeyr çizgisi.
I read about his arms being severed in Uhud, but a respected scholar once mentioned the following in a sermon: Ben, o iki kolunun Uhud'da biçildiğini kitaplarda görmüştüm fakat önemli bir hoca efendi vaaz ederken kürsüde -kendisine saygım vardı- dinlerken şu ilaveyi yapmıştı:
He had also received a blow to his neck and collapsed; he concealed his face on the soil, thinking, 'No one shall see.'
'If angels say to me: "Melekler bana derlerse:
You still had your neck, why did you allow them to attack the Messenger?' and so on. Hala boynun vardı da senin, Rasûlullah'a niye iliştiler?" falan.
'O my Lord! I am ashamed to appear before you.' "Utanıyorum ya Rabbim, Senin huzuruna çıkmaya."
To be devoted to the Messenger in this manner.
These are steps taken towards him. Bu, O'na doğru atılan adımdır, adımlardır.
You will take one step and receive ten steps in return. Siz bir adım atarsanız, on adım ile mukabele görürsünüz.
A Divine hadith stated by the Divine Essence: Kudsî hadis ifade buyuruyor ve bunu Zât-ı Ulûhiyet diyor:
'When My servant comes closer to Me, I take a step closer to him. "Kulum, Bana bir karış gelirse, Ben, bir adım gelirim.
Indeed if he takes one step towards Me, I will come strolling to him.' O bana bir adım atarsa, Ben, gezerek gelirim."
Since these words may imply attributing a body, time and space to God, we consider inconvenient to translate the statements literally, therefore we say, 'He acts in kind.' Böyle diyor ki, bunlar teşbihe, tecsime, hayyize, mekâna, Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın otağını kurmasına delalet ettiğinden dolayı biz aynıyla tercümeyi mahzurlu buluyor, onun yerine "mukabelede bulunur" diyoruz.
Whatever it is that you expect from people, people expects the same.
If you are in expectation of something, you must also know that something is being expected of you. Bir şeyler bekliyorsanız, bir şeylerin beklendiğini bilmeniz lazım.
The effect of words are important; just a few moments ago I was talking about Firdawsi. You can express yourself like Ferdowsi, like Rumi, or like the Honourable Sage Bediüzzaman, with expressive opulence. The topics that Bediüzzaman mentions are more important than anything else. This is a topic that is not stressed enough, and must be.
One may be very eloquent, very imaginative, and explain things like Jules Verne, yet there is no guarantee this will be regarded as being interesting.
However, for your audience to consider what you say seriously and concentrate upon it is based upon your demeanour and stance. Fakat onların diyeceğiniz şeyler üzerinde im'ân-ı nazar etmeleri, konsantrasyona geçmeleri, sizin hal ve tavırlarınıza bağlıdır.
After considering your disposition and stance, people will value what you have to say.
Without rushing... Çok acele etmeden.
For instance: Your friends have spent more than fifteen years in some countries until the disinformation campaigns began. Mesela sizin arkadaşlarınız, bizimkiler bazı yerlerde kafa karıştıracağı âna kadar, on sene, on beş sene; onu da geçti.
Our migrations to different parts of the world began after 1991, to every corner of the world. Çünkü doksan birden (1991) itibaren başladı bizim ihtiyarî hicretlerimiz, dünyanın dört bir yanına.
Foremost, it began in our ancestral homeland, Central Asia. Evvelâ ana yurdumuz olan Orta Asya'dan başlandı.
They went to Azerbaijan, even before the occupation of the Russians. Our friends were there during the occupation. Azerbaycan'a gittiler; hatta Rusların işgalinden evvel gittiler, o işgalde arkadaşlarımız orada idi.
Our respected friend Sadettin was there too; I'm assuming you would recognise him, he was there. Sadettin bey de orada idi; tanırsınız herhalde, orada idi.
They called me and asked, 'What can we do?' Bana telefon ettiler, "Ne yapalım?" dediler.
I said, 'Stay there', only through this will you show your attitude; you will show that you went for them; not for yourself, or your country, your land.' "Kalın orada" dedim, "Ancak o zaman vefâ tavrınızı sergilemiş olursunuz; onlar için gittiğinizi göstermiş olursunuz; kendiniz için, ülkeniz için, memleketiniz için oraya gitmediğinizi ortaya koymuş olursunuz."
This really influenced Haydar Aliyev. Ee Haydar Aliyev'in gönlünü fethetti bu mesele.
During these invasions, I remember fainting on the pulpit. O işgalde Fakir'in de kürsüde bayılması olmuştu; ona karşı dayanamamış bayılmıştı.
They valued that a lot. Onu çok önemsediler mesela o insanlar.
That is, you need to see them as important, as valuable; this mindset is important. Yani, onları kendinizden aziz bilmeniz lazım; o tavır.
They evaluated your friends, 'I wonder is this right?' they said. Şimdi "Acaba doğru mu bu?" dediler.
For ten years, fifteen years they observed the rhythm of your heartbeat, your pulse, your continence. 'By God! On sene, on beş sene sizin kalbinizin ritmine baktılar, nabzınıza baktılar, "Allah, Allah.
These people are always in rhythm.' Hep ritmik atıyor bu.
Their hearts are in harmony. Bu kalbde hiçbir ahenksizlik yok.
How can a person remain beating on the same frequency for this long?' they said.
A certain belief developed, believing in 'the manner', 'representation', its 'disposition'. Böyle bir inanma oldu, "tavır"a inanma oldu, "temsil"e inanma oldu, "hâl"e inanma oldu.
As I mention, there is such an aspect of revealing the Divine message and good representation seen in the Pride of Humanity.
God revealed the Qur'an gradually, in part over time; this is why I mentioned revealing. Yani, Kur'an-ı Kerim'i Allah "inzâl" buyuruyor, ceste ceste; "tenzîl", onun için dedim.
Our Noble Prophet conveyed the message to his people, explained it. Efendimiz aldığı o mesajları insanlara "tebliğ" ediyor, ifade buyuruyor.
Essentially there is an aspect of representation here as well.
When we look at the biography of the Noble Prophet, we see that the aspect that most influenced the Companions was good representation, embodiment of that message.
What adds value to His words and makes them heavenly is His blessed state. Söylediği sözlere değer kazandıran, onları üveyik gibi kanatlandıran, semâvîleştiren, O'nun mübarek ahvali.
He would not sleep before his feet swelled from standing in worship until break of the dawn. O, sabaha kadar ayakları şişmeden yatmıyor, ayakta kemerbeste-i ubudiyet içinde duruyor.
And of course our mother Aisha was fond of this as well as our mother Hafsa and others. Ee buna Hazreti Âişe validemiz de bayılır, Hafsa validemiz de bayılır, başka validemiz de bayılır.
Our mother Khadija was also fond of this state of His.
Embodying the message added value to his delivery of it, to his words, to his speech, to his eloquence and rhetoric. O tebliğe, insanın sunacağı şeye, o söze, o beyana, o baş döndürücü fesahate, belagate esasen değer kazandıran husus, deyip-ettiği şeyleri harfiyen yaşamasıdır.
Hence, the Qur'an says: Nitekim Kur'an-ı Kerim buyuruyor:
'O you who believe. "Ey iman edenler.
Why do you say what you do not do? Yapmayacağınız şeyi niçin söylüyorsunuz?
Most odious it is in the sight of God that you say what you do not (and will not) do' (As-Saf, 61:2-3) 'Why do you say what you do not do?' Yapmayacağınızı söylemeniz, Allah indinde şiddetli bir buğza sebep olur" (Saff, 61:2) "Ne diye yapmadığınız şeyleri söylüyorsunuz."
This does not mean 'Since you are not doing these things, you might as well not say them' it actually means 'Since you are saying these, then perform them first as examples'. Bu "Madem yapmıyorsunuz, söylemeyin" demek değildir; aslında, "Madem bunları söylüyorsunuz, öyle ise dediğiniz şeyleri evvelâ temsil ederek ortaya koyun" manasınadır.
While the words come out from your mouth, others listening to you should remember and picture in their mind your stance and behaviour that are in concert with what you are saying.
These two things will only be convincing when they support each other. Bu iki şey birbirine inzimam edince, inandırıcı olur.
For this reason, we should allow some time of cogency when we want to convince others.
Really, if possible, they should be able to listen to our mind, our neurons and always hear the same sounds in the same harmony. Hakikaten onca zaman bizi, hatta mümkünse dimağımızı, nöronlarımızı dinleseler, böyle hep aynı sesi alsalar, aynı âhenk içinde alsalar.
Those people have faith in us, they believe in what we say. O insanlar inanırlar bize, diyeceğimiz şeylere de inanırlar.
For this reason, the integrity of our attitude is pivotal.
One's stance is so very important in essence. Duruş çok önemlidir esasen.
A person's stance, their complete perspective and how they present themselves is very important; however, what is more important is their ability to maintain this stance.
'Indeed I am none but this'. "Evet, ben, bundan başka değilim."
Your words, your gaze, your demeanour, mimics, eye movements should all be directed towards one aim. Sözün, beyanın, bakışın, mimiklerin, göz irisinde işaretlemelerin senin hep aynı şeyi, aynı noktayı hedeflemeli.
I assume that this will be convincing. Zannediyorum bu inandırıcı olur.
When you open your mouth to speak, your audience will regard your words consistent, reflecting your disposition, and they do not resist.
It seems to me that if we were all able to protect this stance, most people, if not accepting Islam as a religion, would at least say 'I can live in harmony with these people'.
Beyond all of this, there is this hidden truth: Sonra bir de bütün bunların ötesinde şu hakikat var:
If you trod this path genuinely, then He will assist you. Siz, bu yolda samimi yürüyorsanız, O size inayet buyurur.
Along with the earlier observations, if you take one step towards  Almighty God, then He will consider taking a step towards you; if you consider walking to Him; He will consider running to you; if you begin to run to Him and become like a bird and soar, He will consider you in that way. Biraz evvelki mülahazalarla, kendi dırdıriyâtım içinde geçtiği gibi, siz Cenâb-ı Hakk'a karşı bir adım atarsanız, O da gelme mukabelesinde bulunur; siz gelme tavrını sergilerseniz, koşma mukabelesinde bulunur; koşma mukabelesine karşı siz tavırlarınızı ayarlar, biraz daha üveyikliğe dönerseniz, O da üveyik mukabelesinde bulunur.
If there are other creatures that are quicker, birds that are quicker, planes that may be quicker then He may response in that manner.
We call these 'response'. "Mukabele" diyoruz bunlara.
'He is neither a body nor a substance, nor is He a spatial entity, nor of quintessence. "Ne cism ü ne arazdır, ne mütehayyiz ne cevherdir.
He does not eat, nor drink, nor is contained in time: He is high above all such features. Yemez, içmez, zaman geçmez, berîdir cümleden Allah.
He is absolutely free from change and alteration, in fact even from having shape or form. Tebeddülden, tegayyürden, dahi elvân ü eşkâlden,
Alteration, and transformation, and from colours and having a shape as well—these are His Attributes in the negative. Muhakkak ol müberrâdır, budur selbî sıfâtullah.
He is neither in the heavens nor on the earth; neither on the right nor on the left; neither before nor after; Ne göklerde, ne yerlerde, ne sağ ve sol ne ön ardda,
He is absolutely free from any direction' says Ibrahim Haqqi of Erzurum in his Tevhidname. Cihetlerden münezzehtir ki, hiç olmaz mekânullah" diyor, İbrahim Hakkı hazretleri, Tevhidnâme'sinde.
Yes, for that reason, one mustn't hurry. Evet, onun için acele etmemeli.
'Acting in a self-assured and silent manner is from God; hurry is from Satan.' "Teennî (temkin ve sükûnetle hareket etmek) Rahman'dan; acele ise Şeytandandır."
The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, states this. Hazret-i Sâhib-i Zîşân (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) öyle buyuruyor.
This is self-assuredly knowing each step one may take without stumbling and falling, for these are very important. Teennî; temkin, atacağı adımları bilerek atmak, sürçmeyecek, düşmeyecek yerlerde yürümektir ki, bunlar çok önemlidir.
'One who rushes to an ill-timed target will be a loser'; ill-timed... "Vakitsiz hedefe şitâb eyleyen kaybeder" diyor; vakitsiz.
The time for everything must be planned for, like the breaking of the fast.
If you break your fast a little earlier than the prescribed time, you would have fasted the whole day for no reason; if you were to wait for too long after the allocated time, you would be engaged in something that is disliked.
Because the Owner of the Divine Law, says, 'until the sunset'. Çünkü Sâhib-i Şeriat, orada "Akşama kadar" diyor.
Just like that, the expiration date must be allocated very well and protected accordingly.
When the allotted time arrives, we must do and say what we were going to. Vakt-i merhûnu gelince, ona göre diyeceğimiz-edeceğimiz şeyi dememiz lazım.
Slowly, step by step... Yavaş yavaş, adım adım.
Think about the Pride of Humanity... Düşünün ki, İnsanlığın İftihar Tablosu.
He is mentioned once again in a blessed tradition: Yine Kendisi hadis-i şerifte buyuruyor:
'God is remembered when a true believer is seen.' "Hakiki Mü'min görüldüğü zaman, Allah hatırlanır."
There were people of this state even within the Companions, Successors and the Successors of Successors. Sahabe, Tabiîn, Tebe-i Tâbiîn içinde bu kıvamda insanlar vardı.
Upon their entrance into a gathering, their manner and disposition virtually exuberated His glory; the people would always think of God. Bir meclise girdiklerinde tavır ve davranışlarından âdetâ lafz-ı celâle dökülürdü; ondan, "Allah" derdi millet hep.
That was the Pride of Humanity. İnsanlığın İftihar Tablosu o idi.
Being fair; when spite, envy and intolerance is not present. İnsaflı bakınca; garaz, hased, çekememezlik olmayınca.
Abdullah ibn Ubay ibn Salul, Ka'bul-Ashraf; they could not admit nor accept it; although God's Messenger was present among them for a long time, they continued with their obstinacy. Abdullah İbn Ubeyy İbn Selûl, Ka'bu'l-Eşref; bunlar, sindirememiş, hazmedememişlerdi; Allah Rasûlü, onların aralarında onca zaman kaldığı halde, temerrütlerini devam ettirdiler.
However, Abdullah ibn Salam was fair-minded; when he saw the luminous and holy face of the Messenger of God, he said 'I swear to God there can be no lie from this face. There is no deity but God. Ama Abdullah İbn Selâm, insaflı idi; Allah Rasûlü'nün mübarek çehre-i dırahşanını görünce, "Vallahi, bu çehrede yalan yok" dedi, {1>"La ilahe illallah.<1}
Muhammad is the Messenger of God.' {1>Muhammedu'r-Rasûlullah"<1} dedi.
Those who were fair-minded all repeated the same words. İnsaf ile bakanlar, öyle dediler.
Now it seems to me one day, God willing, those who look at your face, the times they will invite you to their house for tea, and the times you invite them to yours, they will be very close and get along with you. Şimdi zannediyorum bir gün -inşaallah- sizin çehrenize bakan kimseler, evlerine gidip çaylarını içtiğiniz zaman, onlar sizin evinize gelip sizin çayınızı içtikleri zaman, sizinle içli-dışlı olacaklar, kaynaşacaklar.
While we share the beauties of our culture with them, in return we will receive the beauties of their culture. Kültürümüzün güzelliklerini onlara verirken, onların kültür güzelliklerini alırken, karşılıklı.
This is said to be a form of 'trade' as said in business; you give something and in correspondence receive something from them.
I believe, as long as this sort of trade continues, this will ultimately lead to a very strong bond and warmth; and they will come to acceptance of what you speak.
You see, this is an achievement. Efendim, kazanımdır bu.
If we continue to walk on the path we are on, using the methods of the Pride of Humanity and not swerving from being sincere and genuine, essentially, those humans will not ignore us.
Our road is a brilliant, smooth highway, but because of misrepresentation by many, it is viewed as a muddy trail.
I will mention something aside from the main topic here: Evet, burada yine antrparantez bir şey diyeyim:
If you were to look at Islam as it is displayed in Turkey right now from the viewpoint of a church, or a synagogue, you would say, 'May God keep it away from us!'
I feel like that is what you would say; because there is a disgusting stance here.
It should be as though they are staring at a utopia, they should admire what they see.
This is the attitude that our friends elicit. A missionary came here recently, yet he is in admiration of Islam.
I can't recall in exact words what he said, but it was to this meaning, 'I see your friends just like the disciples of the Honourable Messiah.' Kelimesi kelimesine ifade edemem tabii, aklımda kaldığı şekliyle, dedi ki, "Ben, sizin arkadaşlarınızı tıpkı Seyyidinâ Hazreti Mesih'in havarîleri gibi görüyorum."
They prefer to let others live, than to live for themselves. Efendim, yaşatma duygusunu, yaşama zevkine tercih etmişler.
They spread all around the world, like the seeds of trees.
They rot beneath the soil, as they do not live for themselves, but it is certain that they will reach a horizon.
These are my additions. Bu ilaveler bana ait.
Yes, those who spend their nights for Him, who always speak of Him, will certainly express the different chapters of the Qur'an to others over time.
May God be pleased with you, you have worked hard. Allah razı olsun, zahmet etmişsiniz.
Things like this gift of flowers are excess, you being here is much more valuable.
May God be pleased with you. Allah razı olsun.
It is not possible to estimate the favours that God will bestow upon these pure hearts. Bu temiz gönüllere, Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın, nasıl teveccühte bulunacağını kestirmek mümkün değildir.
God willing, the world will, one day, open its doors to these hearts like castle doors; they will 'Welcome' themselves, God willing.
We need to adopt that utopian attitude, present these beautiful elements. Biz o ütopik tavrı sergilemeli, o cazibedar güzellikleri ortaya koymalıyız.
God willing, as friend said pouring out his heart, you have scattered all four sides of the world like seeds.
Essentially, 'What could anyone find, having lost Him?'
You seek such a thing that all the worlds do not even equal to one drop in comparison to it.
May God bless you with continuing welfare.   Allah âfiyet-i dâime ihsan eylesin.
A phrase of Fuzuli appeared on the electronic board: Elektronik tabloda, Fuzûlî'den bir söz çıktı:
'If the Beloved wants my life, then I will happily dedicate it to Him. "Canımı Cânân isterse, minnet canıma,
What's the big deal about a life, to prevent me from sacrificing it for the Beloved?' Can nedir ki, onu kurban etmeyem Cânân'ıma?"
Well, he finished it well. Evet, kâfiyesini o koydu.
Did it end well? Kafiye, oldu mu?
Please forgive me. Hakkınızı helal edin.
I am worried that I have given you a headache. Baş ağrıttığım endişesini de taşıyorum.
I hope God will grant me health if it is what is better; at another time we will meet face to face, to hear better news from you.
